About Gary Thomas

Gary has over forty years of mechanical experience. His career began in 1977 as an apprentice at a Chevrolet/Buick dealership in Rhode Island. By 1980, he had obtained a Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant License and began work as an aircraft mechanic for Eastern Airlines at JFK Airport in New York.  In 1985, he left Eastern Airlines to further his education in Christian Studies while maintaining corporate aircrafts for The Way International Christian Ministries in Ohio and earned an Associates Degree in Theology. In 1989, he moved to Kentucky and returned to the automotive maintenance industry.  Since that time, accrued experience and continued education has resulted in an ASE Master Automotive Certification with advanced level certifications in engine performance, hybrid technology and an Associates in Applied Science in Automotive Technology Degree. He is presently employed at Auto Alternative in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
