The Best New & Used Hybrid SUVs Ranking for 2021!
Hybrid automobiles were once thought to be the less thrilling, weak alternatives to their gasoline-only counterparts. They were designed for a small group of buyers that prioritized efficiency over performance.
In many cases, today’s hybrid automobiles have flipped the script. Toyota’s RAV4 Hybrid, for example, has more power than the gas-only versions while also getting better gas mileage.
Many people choose a hybrid SUV for the apparent reason of saving money on gas, but it isn’t the only compelling argument. Hybrid SUVs are also eco-friendly, as many hybrid vehicles emit fewer pollutants than gas-only vehicles.
Better fuel economy translates to a more extended driving range and less time spent at the gas station. In addition to long-term fuel savings, many plug-in hybrids qualify for federal, state, or local tax discounts and credits. When regenerative braking technologies enhance mpg ratios, drivers stuck in stop-and-go traffic benefit the most. Depending on where you reside, a hybrid may also provide access to high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes for solitary drivers.
How Are These Hybrid SUVs Placed in the Rankings?
The fuel economy, range on a full gas tank, beginning price, and load space were looked at to find the finest hybrid SUVs. The list of results illustrates which hybrid SUVs provide the best value, roominess, and gas mileage.
1. 2021 Kia Niro
Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $24,690
50 mpg combined city/highway fuel economy
The 2021 Kia Niro is a winner thanks to its attractive style, reasonable pricing, and excellent fuel economy. It isn’t the largest or most capable all-weather SUV on our list, but it is fuel-efficient and offers the best value for money.
2. 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid
