Auto Alternative Service and Sales was opened by two ASE Honda dealership technicians and has been operating since 1992 as a family-owned business. The business has grown from one service bay to seven in the last 25 years and is competitive with national franchised tire and repair shops. The combined experience of our technicians is 100 years. Our technician’s certification requires continual updating with additional training using state-of-the-art equipment to maintain their certification.
Auto Alternative repairs and performs maintenance on most Asian imports while initially specializing in Honda, Acura, Toyota and Lexus, including electric and hybrid cars. We provide repair, service and maintenance in Nicholasville and Southern Lexington, KY and offer free pickup and to our service areas which include Wilmore and to Fayette and Jessamine counties, including a ride to Bluegrass Airport if one of our customers must travel during the time that repairs are made.
If necessary, we provide a loaner. If the repairs require more time in the shop, we have special rates at Enterprise car rental. To further serve our customers’ needs we also sell reliable pre-owned cars.

All work at Auto Alternative Service and Sales is covered by a limited warranty for a 24 month / 24,000-mile which is backed by Tech-Net nationwide network of auto mechanics. Repairs to all our customer’s cars, including Honda, Toyota, Acura and Lexus are covered by this warranty, and the warranty is honored by all members of the Tech-Net national network.
